How easy is to build your e-store with Fatcow or Justhost web hosting services?

Hi,
I need to know how easy is to use the tools of these two web hosting companies to build an e-store for a person who has not HTML knowledge? Anyone out there can tell their experience with either of these two companies? Thank you,

I use justhost.com for my hosting company. I dont use my website for an e-store but I know that you can accept payments for free via paypal. If you were to allow credit cards on your site it would have to be encrypted. You have to get a SSL certificate for the site. Thats a yearly fee.

Just curious, why these two web hosts? If you want a list of web hosts I would recommend trying either one of these sites:
    http://www.squidoo.com/stats/rankings/WebsiteConstruction
    http://workthenet.info/webhosts.html

I believe Just Host has a free e-commerce store builder. So I’m assuming JustHost is the best.

I would use neither of those, Fat Cow is too new to be reliable and Just Host is obsessed with claiming you are their top 1 member and giving you “special offers” to get more money from you.

    I use and recommend http://www.hostmonsterplus.com
These are just some of my reasons:
It supports PHP, MySQL, and almost anything you’ll need.
It comes with a free domain name… ex: whateveryouwant.com
It has unlimited storage and bandwidth.
You can also add an unlimited amount of domain names.
So with one account you can have many different .com websites. I have 6 right now.
    Only $3.95 per month.
They also give you free $50 Google Credits for advertising your site.

I’ve been using them for 3 years and I’ll give them my thumbs up.

Now I would use this hosting service and combine it with PayPal checkout services, this way you can accept all types of payments including credit cards without any upfront costs like SSL purchases and such whilst still keeping your site secure.

Good luck with whatever you choose, and if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

If you have no html knowledge, you will have a hard time getting your e-store online, however there are few scripts that are very easy to use. You should have no problem setting your e-store with fatcow or justhost.

    You will need the following-
    - dedicated IP for SSL certificate
    - SSL certificate
    - shopping cart script (ex – http://www.interspire.com/shoppingcart/ )

Most of the stuff i listed above will cost you descent amount of money but your webhost should help you with dedicated ip, ssl installation and even installation of the shopping cart script.

As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website. If you are going to create your website: 1- Buy a domain name. A domain name is a name you want to call your website. To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your website online at your purchased domain name.

If you want to start your website I recommend purchase your domain and hosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some hosting services offer this gift today.

As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

They are a Multi-awarded Web Hosting which offer a Full-featured service only $6.95. You can see their Plan Details accompanied with reliable reviews regarding their service at:

Here I have copied and pasted its features from their website to view:

    - Blog (wordpress)
    - Forum (phpbb,bulletin)

    - SSH (Secure Shell), SSL, FTP, Stats
    - CGI, Ruby (RoR), Perl, PHP, MySQL
    - Front Page Extensions
    - Free Site Builder
    - 24/7 Superb/Responsive Sales/Support
    - Free Search Engine Submission

They also offer “Free Site Builder” that helps you build your web pages without difficulty if you are not skilled in using any website creating program. (WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get) You can use this service optionally.

I have been using Fatcow for my websites and they are one of the best web hosting providers out there. They have this website builder which helps you a lot for setting up your website or a e-store as per your requirement.

Infact they are running quite a good offer currently on which you can all unlimited features for just $3.67 a month. So, if you are interested grab the fatcow offer at: http://cheaphostingforum.com/go/fatcowwebhosting.php

Fatcow Control Panel is almost easy and intuitive to use. I recommend FatCow to everyone. The two times I’ve needed tech support, they responded immediately, professionally and courteously.

important! – do not use justhost, they are absolutely terrible. My website has been down for 2 days, and i have had to make many calls to their ‘support’ department, no help at all.

I went with them because the reviews looked great, and they were number one on many sites.

This is a massive con though, do not trust this company

learn by my stress and waste of time and money… avoid them like the plague
